In April this year, the Swedish‑developed Alzheimer drug Leqembi (lecanemab) was rejected by the NT Council (The Swedish National Therapeutic Council) , which advised the regions not to offer the treatment. The reason was that the drug’s effect was not considered to be proportionate to the price requested by the manufacturer.
